Lyon Hoag &
Adjacent Neighborhoods
Traffic Calming Studies and Recommendations
Project Overview
Background
The City of Burlingame strives to maintain a livable community and continually seeks to improve the quality of life for its residents.
A comprehensive traffic study has been initiated by requests from members of the Lyon Hoag and adjacent neighborhoods to investigate a variety of concerns such as speeding, parking, and cut-through traffic.
TJKM, a professional transportation consulting firm, has been hired by the City to investigate any issues raised by the residents and to recommend any traffic calming solutions that may be feasible.
Study Area
The study area is generally bordered by Peninsula Avenue on the south, California Drive on the west, Oak Grove Avenue on the north, and Rollins Road on the east.
